My 13 year old daughter was injured by Gardasil and completely disabled for the past year. Merck got it right when they used the slogan “One Less” for Gardasil. Because of Gardasil, my daughter was “One Less”. She was “One Less Student”, “One Less Active Child”, “One Less in every aspect of her life”. Take it from a mother who has spent the past year sitting by my child’s bedside wondering if she would die in her sleep. INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU VACCINATE. DO NOT trust your doctor to make this decision. If you want to understand Merck’s role in the medical community, investigate some of their former wonderdrugs such as VIOXX and then marvel at how many people died from it before it was pulled off the market. The CDC AND FDA need to do their job and get this off the market before more children are harmed. The public is not aware of VAERS and the #’s are grossly understated. I have had to tell my child’s doctors about VAERS and make them file reports or she would not be one of the current statistics in VAERS. Even then, her information has not been entered correctly so I know that VAERS is not what it should be. Please do not let this happen to your child. There is NO WAY that I will get my son this vaccine. I talk to hundreds of mothers each night whose daughters are ill. The side effects of Gardasil are VERY REAL!

Your message needs to get out to the American Public to prevent our young women from going through what my child did and what thousands of girls are going through EVERYDAY! I am a member of a mothers support group for the victims of Gardasil and we are building a site which is located at http://www.truthaboutgardasil.org to use to unite these mothers in the effort to warn others and get this off the market. This appears to be Merck’s next VIOXX situation.

My daughter also had an adverse reaction to her first and only dose of Gardasil. She has numbness in her hands and feet, uncontrollable twitches in her neck along with muscle pains and joint pains…..it’s horrible. I’m blessed to know that my daughter doesn’t have half the problems that other mothers have dealt with.
I also know a lot of the ladies that Mrs Mathis who posted above has mentioned who have children that have been disabled due to this vaccine.
People would be stunned to know the actual numbers of children who have had horrible horrible onsets due to this vaccine.
My daughter was 14 when she received the first shot. Within 30 minutes, by the time we were on the way home from the doctor’s office, she began getting sick. It has been a nightmare for our family every day since June 9, 2009. She got PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) headaches, brain fog (never made a low “B” in her LIFE! now is making C’s and D’s) and she vomits almost everything she eats. I can count on one hand the good days that she has had in the last 5 months. And every doctor, every specialist, every procedure says that nothing is wrong with her!! Really? She was a cheer leader, soccer player, runner, Honor Student, funny, happy and just plain vibrant. At this very moment she is texting me from school saying that she wishes she could die! The depression is taking it’s toll and I don’t know what to do any more! Please don’t take the risk!!! We are not the only ones going through this. There are litterally thousands! But the doctors won’t report it to VAERS because they won’t admit it’s the vaccine! I had to report it myself and even THEY changed up what I wrote to sound evasive. It’s criminal. If I had done something to cause these things to my daughter I would certainly be jailed and shamed for the rest of my life! Why? Why is it different for Merck? They are responsible for so many deaths and life long injuries of so many families. Yet they prosper. Please keep us in your prayers. ALL of us! There are thousands. THOUSANDS! Don’t be “one less” happy family! Don’t let your child’s life change for the profit of Merck! Don’t be one who looks for places to tell your story so that others may know the truth!
Our daughter has been “ONE LESS” for over 2 1/2 years since receiving two of the gardasil injections. She wasn’t told about any side effects except she might have a seizure within the first 15 minutes after receiving the injection (after being frightened into taking Gardasil). Her seizures began about a week after the first injection, but no one understood what was happening to her (absence type seizures) until after the second injection. She has been chronically ill, losing the abiltiy to walk, abnormal pupillary response/dilation/blurred vision, GI tract issues, swelling of the spinal column from the base of her skull down to her tail bone, and many other problems. She is disabled at this time. We’ve been to 44 doctors, many of whom told us she had psychosomatic disorders. You can’t make your spinal column swell, or your pupils remain dilated for over 2 years! She’s one less…
“ONE LESS” has been mentioned by one of the writers. Our family is also “ONE LESS”. Jessie had all three shots of Gardasil. After the second shot she and her mother notices the headaches, Muscle aches, and fatigue. Jessie was taken to the doctor that gave her the Gardasil. The doctor said it was just stress. Jessie was a cheerleader; a member of the National Honor Society, Played many sports and was practicing for softball, which was about to start.
Jessie went with her mother on February 20, 2008 for the third shot of Gardasil. The next night she told her mother that the headache was back and went to bed. Her mother went to work early the next day and upon returning home from work found Jessie dead. She had been dead for several hours. The medical examiner said, “She was dead before she hit the floor”. Still he could find no cause for her death.
Gardasil was typed into the computer and the nightmares that came up were shocking. We have been in contact with several families that have also lost their daughters to the vaccine that was to protect them. If we had only known that there were other side effects other than the few that were listed by Merck. Jessie would NEVER have received this wonder vaccine that is killing and maiming our girls.
Since Jessie’s death we have been researching and cannot believe that the FDA and the CDC have not pulled this product off the market. There are so many unanswered questions. The GRAY ZONES of risk were mentioned. They are calling all of the deaths (48 plus) just in the U.S. that we know of, sheer coincidences. There have been 15,000 adverse reactions also reported just in the U.S. Statistics show that only 1%-10% is ever reported to VAERS, which is a very small percentage. Many families do not know to report the reactions or how to report them. It is not mandatory for doctors to report the adverse reactions so many doctors do not report them.
Should I go on? YES!!!
Gardasil trials by Merck brought many new medical conditions to many of the girls and women that were being used for the studies. This information is found on the FDA web site dated September 11, 2008. If you would like to look at it the information is on page 132 table 73 titled “New Medical Conditions.
HPV is a virus that the body can fight off over a period of time. The virus COULD cause cervical cancer, NOT WOULD cause cancer. In the U.S. cervical cancer is on the decline with the Pap test and other forms of detection. We do not have an epidemic of cervical cancer so why is Merck pushing to have every girl vaccinated. YOU GUESSED IT!!!! The answer is MONEY. Merck lost a lot of money with the drug VIOX. This drug was also killing people and had to be removed from the market. This is why my family and many others are fighting so hard to remove gardasil from the market. We do not want other families to suffer the loss of a child or have a daughter that is unable to function a normal life because of something that was suppose to keep her safe.
Please do not have your daughter vaccinated without researching Gardasil.

My daughter had Gardasil and has been sick since the 2nd shot. Unfortunately, I continued with the third, not knowing how dangerous this shot was. She lost her hair, had migraines, severe fatigue, confusion, dehydration, and menopausal symptoms. I have since found out that she most likely has a genetic enzyme deficiency (Pyruvate kinase deficiency) very common in people of northern European ancestry (most Minnesotans!!!). She has been on a strict diet – gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, with NO metals in her diet (you wouldn’t believe what’s in our foods). She is slowly recovering but it will be a long road back to good health. She’s on extra vitamins including B complex, niacin (VERY low dose initially as more can be dangerous … 25-50 mg.) and Vitamin D.
Thank you for taking the time to report on this vaccine. There are many trying to stop this vaccine. I have been part of a larger group that includes girls in Australia, UK, Scotland and Spain all that have become ill after this vaccine. There are several facebook causes and yahoo groups and are trying to stop this vaccine and we have even sent letter to over 150 congressmen trying to get word out about this vaccine.
As a parent – do your research on EACH and every ingredient in vaccines and medications … they can be quite dangerous.
My daughter, Victoria, has been ill since Feb. 2008. She had her first Gardasil vaccination Nov. 2007. Her second vaccination was in the beginning of Feb. 2008. Immediately after her second vaccination, she had severe diarrhea and was nauseous for about eight weeks. She had blood work done many times and doctors thought she had a virus. On March 31, 2008, she had her first seizure. My daughter has had CT scans, MRI’s, MRA’s, EEG’s, blood work and was hospitalized at an epilepsy center in the video EEG monitoring unit for two separate weeks in May 2008 and September 2008. She recently underwent two spinal taps. She was put on many different seizure medications. After the normal EEG results, she was taken off all medications. Her SED rate has always been high and she does have protein in her urine, but doctors do not seem concerned. I was told that her red blood are small, but this apparently is not concerning either. My daughter has been seen by several neurologists, a psychiatrist, pain specialists, an endocrinologist, psychologist, several neuropsychologists, an immunologist, several infectious disease doctors, and also treated a at Wellness Center for a period of time. My daughter currently experiences the following symptoms: non-epileptic seizures episodes, migraines, fainting, tremors, twitches, numbness, intermittent leg paralysis and facial paralysis, tingling, staring or blank episodes, eye pain, joint pain, neck pain, back pain, memory loss, confusion, hair loss, brain fog, regression, mood swings and chronic fatigue. She continues to have bouts of nausea and diarrhea. She has not been in school since April 2008. My daughter can never be left home alone. She can’t go to school, go out with her friends or work or has little “normalcy” in her life. She has very few good days and always says she doesn’t feel good.
Each night, I check on my daughter many times in the middle of the night to make sure she is still breathing. I have a chime on her bedroom door so that every time she opens it, I know she has walked out of her room. I had a deadbolt put on the front door of our home with a key that can be removed from the inside. I never leave the key in the door for fear that Victoria will be confused after a seizure or when she has memory loss, and leave our home. When she is in the shower, I have to either stand outside the door and/or keep asking her, “are you okay?”
Everyday, I cry and wonder if Victoria will be next one to die from adverse reactions to Gardasil.
