KeyMN Radio | The price of crab cakes these days…

KeYMNGraphic 150x107 KeyMN Radio | The price of crab cakes these days... In this episode, hosts C-Good and Kev E Fly welcome a new face to the show– Allie Lane joins the cast in another hilarious edition of the KeYMN show. Today’s hot topics include what happens when you get mad about the price of crab cakes in your local grocery store, why you shouldn’t ask your mom to give you a ride to rob a house, a woman who ate a “powdered sugar” donut, a man who wants to axe you a question with his pool cue/knife apparatus, and why you should never ask your kids to help you out when you’re getting arrested.

The gang also discusses the passing of author JD Salinger, his fictional connection to Dubuque, IA—a town where Kevin used to live, and that was thrust into the national news spotlight this week (unfortunately.)

Professor Antsy Adams also manages to call in to the show, in the middle of time traveling to provide another delightful history lesson.

Also, please note that there was a brief technical malfunction in the recording of today’s show.  Five minutes of the show are now lost forever.  But we’ll all probably continue living.

Also, also– please note that if you are a regular follower of the KeYMN Saturday Morning Show, there will not be a show on February 6th. So all these old episodes in the archives will have to tide you over until we return on the 13th.

Setlist:

  • “Koka Kola” by The Clash
  • “Hide It Away” by Retribution Gospel Choir
  • “Stylo” by Gorillaz (featuring Mos Def and Bobby Womack)
  • “Laura” by Girls
  • “Remember” by Lali Puna
  • “Backstabbers” by The O’Jays

Tune into the KeYMN show every Saturday at 11 a.m, or check out the show archives.
