We have been gone for the winter and now I can’t find Al on the Twin Cities dial. Was he fired by KSTP also?I have listened to him for years and I called into his program on occasion. Will you please let me know what he is doing now? Thanks!
Yes, Al was let go at KSTP. They switched to Sports Talk, so everyone except Pat Ruesse & Joe Socheray got the ax.
Miss hearing Al on the radio. Joe was the reason I started listening to KSTP, Al and Kelly Webb are why I continued listening. not much to listen to now.
WE LISTENED TO AL EVERY WEEK DAY MORNING FOR YEARS. WE SURE DO MISS HIM. I HOPE HE IS DOING OK.

AM 1500 is a joke now and so is CCO, KTLK is where its at, they should hire Al so I can call in and ask him if he wants to go munting again

WCCO radio (CBS) has really screwed up a great thing. First they let Al go, who I listened to every night. I no longer listen to cco @ night…it’s not local…it’s not Al!!! The only personalities I listen to are Dave Lee (if I’m up early enough) , Michelle & Miss Steele who is on Sunday nights & not long enough. And they should have left Susie & john on together!!! Thanks for the interview w/Al, good show. Hope Al gets a new local gig. I’ve left my computer on KYMN & am enjoying the station. Hope that I’ll be able to receive it in my car. Sorry so glib. Thanks for letting me vent.
Where I wasn’t too hot on Al Malmberg, this guy, Jon Grayson who they have on now through the night is REALLY a joke!
CCO has made a few mistakes but this one tops the list!

Al Malberg is a joke. I hate his show on WCCO, All the idiot ever did was talk about himself … his cars, his airplane, his karate, etc, etc. The guy was so full of himself that I would sometime feel bile rising in my throat as he talked. And the Lonely Guy was the biggest waste of airtime I have ever heard. Good riddance to those two clowns.
The onlygood thing on wcco or kstp was Al Malmberg. Nothing to listento again except for the twin games.
Vilhelm sure does know much about a guy he hated listening to.

Where is Al today? I haven’t listened to WCCO or KSTP for the last four years. They are DEAD radio stations!!!!
Though it has now been a few years, I’m still missing Al Malmberg on WCCO radio over nights. They made a huge mistake when they let Al go, as ‘CCO as not been the same since.
We get “Overnight America” with John Grayson, and he doesn’t get my ear. Not to mention, the station has meaningless infomercials, that I can’t imagine anyone really listens to. I know I don’t!
Al is missed and I hope he is doing well.
