Tamim Ansary is is the author of the memoir West of Kabul, East of New York, Destiny Disrupted: A History of the World through Islamic Eyes, co-author with Afghan land mine victim Farah Ahmadi of the New York Times bestseller The Other Side of the Sky, as well as numerous non-fiction books for children. Ansary is director of the San Francisco Writers Workshop.
Rebecca Ganzel is an editor, writer and librarian. She is the editor of the new book “A Grand History: The Summit Hill Neighborhood’s First 200 Years,” published by the Summit Hill Association. This history book compiled by local writers, interviewers, and oral historians highlights the role of this St. Paul neighborhood in Minnesota history.
