The 2010 primary election will be held on August 10th this year. The League of Women Voters is hosting a forum with candidates for Northfield city council tonight. Voters will have a chance to get to know the candidates better and get a clearer picture of where the candidates stand on the issues affecting Northfielders. In the 4th ward, Dale Gehring and Patrick Ganey vie with incumbent Jon Denison. And Norman Butler and Steve Engler vie with incumbent Rhonda Pownell for the councilor at large seat. The forum gets underway at 7:00 in the city council chambers.
