Tim Madigan is the Northfield city council’s unanimous choice for interim city administrator. Madigan had served as city administrator for Faribault. Earlier this morning, the council interviewed Madigan and three others, Gregory Andrews, Craig Dawson and Ronald Moorse for the interim position. According to the council-approved employment agreement, Madigan would earn approximately $104, 212 per year. The agreement would have Madigan starting on or before August 23rd and filling the position for approximately 6 to 9 months. A resolution officially approving Madigan and defining his role more clearly will likely be voted upon at a council meeting next Tuesday.
