IMG 0580 150x112 Todays news update | Man hurt in cycle accidentNorthfield police respond to a call of a motorcycle accident around 10:00 this morning in the Tom Furlong parking lot. Sgt. Bill Olsen with the Northfield police department was at the scene. He says it appears 53-year old Edward Travers from St. Paul lost control of the motorcycle during a test drive and hit a parked truck. Olsen says the bike was owned by a Furlong motors employee. Northfield deputy police chief Chuck Walerius says Travers doesn’t have a motorcycle endorsement. He also has a cancelled driver’s license as Inimical to Public Safety (IPS). Travers was taken to Northfield Hospital for observation where he was listed in fair condition.
