The city says goodbye to three employees at a reception today. City administrator Joel Walinski steps into his new role as administrator for Leavenworth, Washington–his last official day is September 3rd. Community development manager Brian O’Connell, who entered into an agreement with the city for voluntary early retirement will move move to a part-time consulting position. And IT director, Melissa Reeder prepares for her new position with Rice County–her last official day with the city is September 9th. The reception for departing city employees takes place on today at 3:00 at city hall.
