Paula’s guest today is Marc Robinson, associate professor of Russian at St. Olaf College. He is also the playwright and director of the new Northfield Arts Guild production of The Singer Sisters.
The Singer Sisters features the four sisters of the Singer family in a sweetly comic drama with music. The sisters have reunited after many years to celebrate their mother’s birthday, but circumstances force them to celebrate in a way that they hadn’t expected.
The cast of The Singer Sisters includes faces well known to Northfield stages: Charlie Black, Kathleen Doran-Norton, Jordan Ett, Trish Lewis, Janice Mannot, and Maureen O’Keefe.
Remaining performances of The Singer Sisters will be November 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7:30pm and November 14 and 21 at 2:00pm. The performance on November 12th will be audio described for the blind and visually impaired and will also be ASL interpreted for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
