After years on hiatus, we are re-launching “Light up Northfield”, a residential, exterior Christmas light contest.
We will be judging Christmas-light & decorations within the Northfield city limits or a maximum of 5 miles from the city borders. We will be announcing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners on December 17th, 2010 (changed the Dec 23rd). Winners will receive a prize package full of great tickets and passes to regional events. Winning names will be announced and photos of their homes will be displayed on this website.
Entrants are encouraged to upgrade their lighting displays with eco-friendly and cost saving LED lights, but is not required. Winners will be judged on overall creativity and showmanship.
Prior to entry, you are required to read over these terms and conditions.
- Must be within the Northfield city limits, or 5 miles outside the city limits.
- Excludes any commercial exhibit.
- KYMN reserves the right to dis-continue this contest at any time.
- Winners agree to have their names announced, address & photos of your home displayed on this website.
- KYMN staff will be driving by your home at an undisclosed time after sunset between the days of December 10th to December 16th 2010 for judging.

I was wondering if the winners for the 2010 Christmas Light Display had been announced yet? Per the inital article it mentioned winners would be announced December 17th. I was wanting to go out and look at the lights.
