Paula’s guest today Scott Richardson stops by to talk about the Sopranorama concert on Saturday 29 January in Northfield, the Winter Scream Ice Cream Social in Bridge Square on Saturday afternoon 22 January from Noon – 2PM and his role in the creation of the new song with Craig Wasner called “The Ballad of Wayne Eddy.” Scott Richardson is the Director of Community Relations at Northfield Hospital & Clinics and a former General Manager at the Northfield News.
Sopranorama features vocalists Maria Jette, Molly Sue McDonald and Northfield’s own Janis Hardy and they promise to explode all of the myths and challenge all of the stereotypes about tightly-wound, diva sopranos, while singing everything from classical to cabaret. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, 29 January at First UCC, 300 Union Street. Tickets are $20, available at First UCC, at Present Perfect in downtown Northfield or at the door the night of the performance.
