I truly enjoyed the “Nurse Emily” broadcast regarding Alzheimer’s and caregiving. With the baby-boom generation reaching retirement age and beyond, the demand for care givers of dementia patients will increase at an alarming speed, and include both professional and family caregivers.
The need for caregiver dementia education is rising as fast as the Mississippi River in the spring. As a society, we must provide the training that will not only help people afflicted with dementia/Alzheimer’s, but to provide tools and resources to those who care for these people. This radio show is one of those valuable resources.
Thank you and keep up the good work!
