Segment 1) 9:05 to about 9:20 The Friends of Way Park benefit concert
Sarah Carlsen and Judy Swanson will join me to talk about the plans for Way Park and the details of this weekend’s concert. The Friends of Way Park benefit concert is Saturday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ. Andrea Een, violin and viola, Dana Maeda, oboe and Theo Wee, organ and piano, will present music of Johan Sebastian Bach in an hour-long concert. Following the concert there will be a dessert reception in the Assembly Room of the church.
All donations will help fund the implementation of park improvements to realize the Way Park master plan. Find out more about the concert and the organization at the website waypark.blogspot.com
Segment 2) 9:20 to about 9:40 Arts Town Meeting
Ann Mosey and April Ripka will share with us the details of the first annual Arts Town Meeting in Northfield. The meeting will be on Monday, 4 April from 7PM to 9PM at the Northfield Community Resource Center/Senior Center, Room #103. The Riverwalk Arts Quarter will host this meeting designed to inform attendees about artistic ventures happening in our city and further connections and collaborations in the community.
