Paula’s Guest/Topic this week: Paula’s guest today is cellist David Carter, artistic director of the Bridge Chamber Music Festival in Northfield, Minnesota. David Carter is currently professor of music at St. Olaf College. In addition to his St. Olaf responsibilities, he has served as the cello editor for StringNotes magazine and faculty at the Red Lodge Music Festival and the Interlochen Arts Camp. He has performed as soloist with both the Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and in recital throughout the US.

The Bridge Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 13th season with four concerts spanning the week of August 18-25 in Northfield, MN. The concerts present classical chamber music from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, performed by local artists and special guests. Most concerts are only $5 general admission, with tickets available at the door or the Northfield Arts Guild. For more information visit http://www.bridgechamber.org/
