An Owatonna man pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to producing videos and images containing child pornography. 46-year-old Michael Sherman admitted that between September and December 2010, he enticed and coerced a young boy and girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of the activity. The items were found on a computer during the execution of a search warrant at Sherman’s residence. Additional images of the victims were found on Sherman’s cell phone. Sherman faces up to 30 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years.
