Other highlights of the evening will be the awarding of the MVP awards for all fall and winter sports and the presentation of the 2012 Outstanding Senior Athlete Awards. All Raider athletes who competed in State Tournaments this past year will also be honored, and all senior athletes will be recognized. We will also honor those senior athletes who have participated in “12 Seasons” of athletic competition at NHS, quite an accomplishment in today’s sports world!
The Raider Spirit Award will be presented for the 15th year. This award will be presented to senior athletes who have not received other honors or awards, but have excelled in the areas of spirit, enthusiasm, being coachable, citizenship and sportsmanship. Winners for this award are selected by the coaching staff, and sponsored by the Northfield News. KYMN Radio will also honor this years’ “Coach of the Year” at NHS.
