Today Paula’s guests will celebrate the classic children’s stories about Frog and Toad. In the ArtZany! Radio studio, Paula is joined by director Julianna Skluzacek and cast members Tania Legvold and Steve Lawler of the production A Year with Frog and Toad coming soon to the Paradise Center for the Arts from the Merlin Players.
This musical is based on the Frog and Toad children’s stories written and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. It follows the woodland adventures of two amphibious friends, a worrywart toad and a perky frog, with their assorted colorful hopping, crawling and flying companions, over the course of a year. Introduced at the Minneapolis Children’s Theatre, it won a regional Tony Award for the theatre. This delightful show is for all ages and will feature Eric Parrish and Michael Lambert as Toad and Frog and other community members.
