The rain and hail has more than dampened tonights plans for the 7th Annual Taste of Northfield. The event has been postponed to a later date to-be-announced. However, The Big Wu WILL play tonight at 10 o’clock upstairs at the Rubenstein. Organizers, Vendors and volunteers remained hopeful early in the afternoon as they worked to set up the tent on Bridge Square in the rain and hail, however food Vendors were unable to assemble their booths and the bands can’t play outdoors with Thunderstorm warnings looming into the night. While streets are flooded with water, organizers have been inundated with inquiries, they finally made the decision to call the event just an hour before it was to start holding out hope to the last moment.
