Due to the large amount of local rainfall recently, flooding concerns continue. This includes properties along the Cannon River as well as residential areas in the community. The forecasts for the Northfield area continue to include rainfall, potentially large amounts. For those reasons I felt it prudent to put out information on sandbagging for private property owners should they deem it necessary. The attached information includes vendor contact information on sandbags and other supplies. It also includes information on proper sandbagging techniques. I would encourage residents to continue to monitor the weather situation, and to stay informed on current weather and rainfall scenarios.
