Free Electronics Recycling Pickup August 18 at UCC

• When:  This Saturday, August 18 from 10am until noon.
• Where:  Parking lot of The First United Church of Christ, 300 Union Street.
• Acceptable items: Computers, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, external hard drives, cables.  Anything containing copper.  Computer monitors, including old-style CRTs.  Stereo components, radios.  Microwave ovens, humidifiers, dehumidifiers.  Any electronics with motors in them.
• Do not bring this type of material: televisions, large appliances such as refrigerators, external speakers made of wood.
• Please put loose material in boxes and secure all cables.
• Note: This recycler’s standard policy is to permanently crippled hard drives so that no information can ever be retrieved.
