Centenarian Della Lundquist joins Wayne for a fourth time, just days before her 101th birthday. In her four shows, she talks of her life growing up on the Iron Range, her families friendship with Bob Dylan’s family, and life at the age of 100.

I learned more new things about my mother’s life listening to your interview with her, Wayne. Thanks for having her back for the 3rd year. Isn’t it amazing to be able to converse with a 100 year old?!
It was an honor and a priviledge to be able to celebrate my mom’s 100th birthday with about 350 relatives and friends on Sept. 4th (the day before her actual birthday)
She had so much fun and so did everyone else. They were kidding her about being famous…being on the radio with you and on “On the Spot” on KSTP. I’ve never known anyone who was 100 before. Our family was truly blessed to have my mom be a part of our lives. She is the most caring, giving, interested, upbeat, loving mom/grandma/great grandma/aunt/sister/sister-in-law/cousin/friend, etc. etc. anyone could ever ask for. She is so loved by all of us.
