KYMN spoke with Deputy Chief Chuck Walerius moments ago. They have suspended the search area for now as an intense search since Sunday has turned up nothing. They do not encourage volunteers to go looking at this time. They’ve talked with area farmers to keep an eye out in their fields and woods. They do encourage anyone with information to contact them at 507-645-4475. They will follow any leads. KYMN will keep you up to date with information as it becomes available.
Northfield police have just released the name and photo of the Northfield man who’s been missing for several days. He’s identified as 39 year old Joshua Ben Bohlen. Bolen is described as a white male 5 foot 6 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has blonde hair. Bohlen was last seen on Thursday. He has experienced recent mental health issues and his family is concerned for his well-being. If you have any information on Bohlen or his whereabouts you are asked to call the Northfield Police at 645-4475. His family reported him missing on Sunday, a State Patrol helicopter searched the area in which they thought he might be with no luck. Goodhue County found his truck near Goodhue Avenue and 110th early yesterday and a massive search involving several agencies including Northfield Fire, Rice County and a SWAT team was set in motion, again with no luck.
