The owners of Red Barn Farm are asking for help. The Northfield News reports that the Winters launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $7,000 for a brick oven that will be NSF approved and cook 4 to 5 pizzas at a time. The pizza club came under scrutiny from the state due to the significant increase in diners each week. The Winters started working with the County in 2011 to obtain the necessary licensing to accomodate the growth of their business. The architectural plans for a number of upgrades to their kitchen and bathroom facilities which are now being inspected. Once complete, the plans will go to the Rice County building official where the Winters will likely receive a building permit to get things rolling. The old oven cooked just 2 pizzas at a time. The Winters are excited to get back to business. Donations will be accepted through October 27th. As of this morning they’ve already raised a little over $2,000. Click here to donate:
