Liz Brindley and Leah Willemin are participants in the 5th-Year Artist Apprentice/Intern program with St. Olaf College and Carleton College. The new exhibit “Connect” opens at the Northfield Arts Guild Gallery on Thursday, 14 April 2016 and features work from all of the 5th-Year Emerging Artists.

Every year, a select group of senior art majors are invited to continue their studies at St. Olaf College and Carleton College as part of a 5th year intern/apprentice program. The Northfield Arts Guild is proud to showcase these up-and-coming emerging artists!

This exhibition consists of various pieces created during the duration of their 5th-year experience, and features artists: Liz Brindley, Daniel Bynum, Thomas Dunning, Gina Haugen, Ellen Kwan, Bridget Novak, & Leah Willemin.

Please join us for an artist reception on Friday, April 22 from 7 – 9 pm, with artist talks starting around 7:30 pm. The reception will also include an interactive performance piece by Liz Brindley.

Eclipse Viewing Party at Northfield Public Library

Monday, April 8, 2024 @ 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm – Join us for the total solar eclipse! We will make cardboard eclipse viewers, pass out eclipse glasses, and all join together to see 70% of the total eclipse at 2:02 p.m. Bring a cereal box (or similar box) to make your own viewer–we will have a limited supply available.
