Community News: Friends of the Northfield Library present gift to the City of Northfield

FRIENDS OF THE NORTHFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY PRESENT GIFT TO THE CITY 

For Immediate Release

On April 19, 2016, Mayor Dana Graham proudly received a gift from Bill North, Treasurer, Friends of the Library, totaling $85,000. The Friends and Foundation of the Northfield Public Library is a non-profit, community-based organization since 1983 that support early literacy programs, recruits volunteers, provides support for equipment in the Library such as computers and eBook readers, and organizes special events including fundraising trivia bees, concerts, speakers and book readings. Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 7, 2016 to celebrate the reopening of the Northfield Public Library.

Eclipse Viewing Party at Northfield Public Library

Monday, April 8, 2024 @ 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm – Join us for the total solar eclipse! We will make cardboard eclipse viewers, pass out eclipse glasses, and all join together to see 70% of the total eclipse at 2:02 p.m. Bring a cereal box (or similar box) to make your own viewer–we will have a limited supply available.
