All-Wheel Drive/April 27

Playlist:

What a treat to be joined this afternoon by world-class musicians Tim Kliphuis (violin) and Sam Miltich (guitar), who performed two tracks in advance of their appearance tonight at The Grand (316 Washington Street) as part of the 2016 Gypsy Jazz Jam Series — and tomorrow night in concert at the Northfield Arts Guild Theater (411 West Third Street). They also just released a new CD together, “Duets.” You don’t want to miss these two amazing musicians in action! Tonight’s event is free and tickets to their grand finale concert can be purchased here. You can also learn more about both artists here and here.

In addition to chatting about the Gypsy Jazz tradition and how the two artists came together to collaborate, Tim and Sam performed:

“This Can’t Be Love” (from “Duets,” 2016)
“Nica’s Dream”
