15 with the Author | ‘The Christmas Wish’ by Lori Evert and Per Breiehagen 11/28/16

anjaOn today’s 15 with the Author, Teri Knight talks with one half of a couple from Minneapolis whose family photos became a book series.  Dad, Per Breiehagen captured 4 year old Anja’s images in Norway and mom, Lori Evert, turned them into stories.  “The Christmas Wish”, features Anja’s, magical quest to find Santa with help from a menagerie of Arctic animals.  The photos are stunning and the stories sweet.  There are 4 books in the series so far and a movie in pre-production.  Per grew up in Norway and has taken photographs on expeditions with Will Steiger.  Lori talks about the stories, how Anja was inserted in the photos, the journey of their family who live in Mpls and have a cabin in Norway, where Per’s family is.  We can expect more adventures with Anja!  Join Lori at Paper Petalum on Friday, Dec. 3rd from 3pm to 4pm for a book signing.  She will also be at St. Olaf bookstore from 5p to 6p
