Robbery suspect sought

Authorities are investigating a bank robbery in Rosemount that occurred yesterday afternoon.  According to Rosemount police, a man entered Merchants Bank, 15055 Chippendale Ave., shortly before 5 p.m.  He presented a note to a teller demanding cash. The man fled the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.  No weapon was displayed and no one was injured, police said.  Police described the suspect was white, mid-30s to 40s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing 200 to 225 pounds. He had short brown hair, a mustache and goatee. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, tan cargo shorts and sunglasses.  Anyone with any information about the robbery is urged to call the Rosemount Police Department’s tip line at 651-322-COPS.
