Closings for January 22nd

Closings January 22nd, 2018:

2:30pm….     Several Allina Health Clinics in the south and east metro are closing early today due to the winter storm. The following clinic locations are closed now or will close shortly:

  • Eagan
  • Faribault
  • Farmington
  • Lakeville
  • Northfield
  • St. Paul – United Medical Specialties
  • West St. Paul
  • Woodbury

All Allina Health Urgent Care locations will remain open and keep regular hours.

Tonight’s Dundas City Council meeting has been postponed to Monday, January 29th

Cardinal Glass closing at 2pm

The Northfield School Board meeting has been postponed for this evening.

The City of Northfield City Hall Offices, including DMV, are closing early today (1:30pm) due to
weather.
The Northfield Public Library will close at 1:30pm.
The Northfield Municipal Liquor Store will close at 3pm.
The Northfield Police Department urges you to restrict travel plans. If you must travel, plan
ahead. Expect travel to take much longer than expected. Understand it is very slippery and
hazardous.

Northfield Youth Choirs – All rehearsals cancelled today

First National Bank, Community Resource Bank, and Frandsen Bank are closing at 2:00.

11:47am The clinics of Northfield Hospital + Clinics will close at 2:00 pm today. That includes primary care clinics in Farmington, Lakeville, Lonsdale and Northfield, plus Rehabilitation Services clinics in Northfield and Lakeville, and the Women’s Health Center on the Northfield Hospital campus.  Patients who have a clinic appointment scheduled for this afternoon, will be contacted directly.  Clinic closures are intended to help patients and staff stay off the roads, and safe during the storm.   Northfield Hospital, the Emergency Department, and Emergency Medical Services are open and in service during the current winter storm.  If you have an emergency, call 911 as soon as possible to account for longer travel times for an ambulance.  Urgent Care in Lakeville is closed today, Monday January 22.

The Living Treasure award event scheduled for this evening at the Grand Event Center to honor Judy Code has been postponed to February 5th.

Eclipse Viewing Party at Northfield Public Library

Monday, April 8, 2024 @ 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm – Join us for the total solar eclipse! We will make cardboard eclipse viewers, pass out eclipse glasses, and all join together to see 70% of the total eclipse at 2:02 p.m. Bring a cereal box (or similar box) to make your own viewer–we will have a limited supply available.
