Journey down the Mighty Mississipp’ this weekend with Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher and all the gang as 83 local children take the stage along with 2 professional actors in Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s original musical version of Mark Twain’s classic tale of childhood, “TOM SAWYER.”
“Tom Sawyer” is the culmination of a week-long residency by Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre sponsored by Northfield Public Schools Community Services. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, November 17, and again at 1 p.m. on November 18 at the Northfield Middle School auditorium. Shows are open to the public and tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students (grades K – 12). Admission for children younger than kindergarten age is free.
