“The Merchant of Menace” explores power and greed, young love, past mistakes and new beginnings.  It masquerades as a children’s fairy tale, with delightful characters like a dancing cow and a talking ferret.  However, it gives us a lot to think about, wrapped up in a happy ending for people of all ages.  Veteran performer Jim Rossow and popular stage actor Russ Paladin head the cast, with sets and props by artists Tracy Giza and Jim Haas.  David Miller is the musical arranger or this musical panto by playwright Peggy Sheldon.

“The Merchant of Menace” is a benefit with all proceeds to support the Northfield Senior Center.  Tickets are $8 in advance and can be purchased at the Northfield Senior Center front desk or online at NSCMN.org.

Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.  Children under 2 are free.  Performances will be held at the Arcadia School Theater, 1719 Cannon Road, Northfield on the following dates:
