Corey and Ira welcome in Eric from Karst Brewing in Fountain. Eric talks about following his dream, what the past year has been like since opening and what’s ahead for the state’s smallest taproom.
It’s celebration time. On Tap with Corey and Ira start off their second year in a big way by visiting their friends at Montgomery Brewing to record on site. Montgomery Brewing, of course, was the very first guest on the show. Corey and Ira chat with the whole team about what has transpired in the past year for the growing brewing, what’s ahead for them and, of course, they talk over some tasty beers from the brewery.
It’s the fourth and final stop of the Corey and Ira Excellent Winter Warm Adventure Series. And what a ride it was! They wrap up the daylong tour with a stop at Oswald Brewing Company in Blue Earth, emanating from a renovated bank. Corey and I caught Oswald proprietor John on a busy Saturday night and he was nice enough to give them a little time.
It’s stop No. 3 for the Corey and Ira’s Excellent Winter Warmer Adventure Series, which brings the guys to Take 16 Brewing Company in Luverne. Corey and Ira chat with brewer Luke Rensink and sales manager Dave McDonald about their industry backgrounds, the creation of Take 16 and the brewery’s growth in the past few years.
