Amy Hallberg will read from her true-life novel, German Awakening: Tales from an American Life on Tuesday, June 4, 7:00 pm, at the Northfield Public Library. She will share how — during a visit to Germany — Friedrich Schiller (yes, that Schiller) helped her reclaim her dream of writing. Amy will walk through a simple exercise to tap into Inner Creatives. Finally in Q & A,
she’ll talk about real-life writing adventures and her ongoing practice of accessing muses.

Amy Hallberg graduated from Carleton College in 1992 with a degree in German Literature. She holds certificates in Editing and Translation from the University of Chicago, and Creative Nonfiction from the Loft Literary Center. of the podcast Frau Amy’s World: Conversation with Real-Life Creatives.
