Parkinson’s Support Group shares tips on car transfers – and health care providers – at June 26 meeting
It can be challenging to get in and out of vehicles if you have limited mobility. The Parkinson’s Support Group will learn tips for “transfers” in and out of cars at its monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 26.
The group also will discuss what patients and their loved ones want from their health care providers.

The meeting begins with a video from the Parkinson’s Conference; then the group will do a series of exercises from LSVT BIG therapy for movement, followed by tricks and tips for car transfers, and discussion about what patients look for from their health care providers.
Northfield Parkinson’s Support Group meets monthly. Individuals who have Parkinson’s and those with a loved one who has Parkinson’s are invited to attend. This support group is always free, always welcoming.
