Let’s Get Puzzled!

On Saturday, March 23rd from 10am-1pm the Friends of the Northfield Public Library will host our first annual Puzzle Playoff, a jigsaw puzzle competition for kids and adults at the Weitz Center for Creativity that is designed to be a fun community event while raising money for the Friends and our Public Library.

Teams of up to four will work simultaneously work to complete the same jigsaw puzzle in the shortest amount of time. We will have two levels of competition: one for young people 12 years or below working on a 200 piece puzzle, and one for everyone 13 years old or older working on a 500 piece puzzle.

The winning team in each tier will receive a group of prizes donated by area businesses and Friends. Content Bookstore will be providing the puzzles, which can be taken home by all the competing teams after the competition.

The cost is $25 per adult team and $15 per youth team; additional donations are very much appreciated and will all go to the Friends of the Northfield Public Library. Puzzle-making snacks and light refreshments will be available during the event.
