What Makes Lakes Turn Green?: A Lake Phosphorus Study Presentation
Monday, Feb. 10
6:00 pm

Forest Township Hall at 3625 Millersburg Blvd (Rice County Road 1) Faribault, MN 55021

Ever wonder why some lakes turn green with algae and others don’t? The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Science Museum of Minnesota have been studying lakes in the Cannon River Watershed to determine the best way to reduce algae blooms in watershed lakes.

Adam Heathcote of the Science Museum of MN will present the research completed on the phosphorus impaired lakes of the Cannon River Watershed. In case of bad weather the bad weather alternate date is Thursday, February 13.
