WHAT’S YOUR STORY? MEMOIR WRITING WORKSHOP AT THE NORTHFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY

Do you have memories you want to share? Do you want to begin writing a memoir?

Join a two part class with local writer and editor Orlo Otteson on May 9 and May 23, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

at the Northfield Public Library. Learn the process of turning memories into a memoir.

Orlo will talk about the different structures you can use, and how to begin the process. The two week break between sessions will give participants a chance to write and ask questions during the second session. The workshop is free and open to the public. However, please register ahead of the class so there will be enough chairs and materials for all participants. You can register by calling the Northfield Public Library reference desk, 645-1802, or emailing Joan Ennis at joan.ennis@ci.northfield.mn.us

For more information about Orlo, check out his website at www.memoir-edit.com
