“A Mother’s Reckoning – Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy” by Sue Klebold

On April 20th, 1999 2 boys entered Columbine High School and committed atrocities that no one could fathom at the time.  They left 13 dead and 24 injured before they committed suicide.  For the last seventeen years, Sue Klebold, Dylan’s mother, has lived with the indescribable grief and shame of that day. How could her child, the promising young man she had loved and raised, be responsible for such horror? And how, as his mother, had she not known something was wrong? On today’s 15 with the Author, Teri Knight, talks with her as she shares those first few hours, the years in between and her unending mission to bring more light on brain issues.  amothersreckoning.com
