With Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Book and Best Original Score, this musical continues to touch audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty. Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, the village’s dairyman, and his five daughters, three of marriageable age. With the help of his wife and their tight-Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing antisemitism of Czarist Russia.

Fiddler on the Roof is based on Sholem Aleichem stories by special permission of Arnold Perl with Book by Joseph Stein, Music by Jerry Bock, Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. Produced on the New York Stage by Harold Prince. Original New York Stage Production Directed and Choreographed by Jerome Robbins.
