Minnesota 1918 – when Flu, Fire and War Ravaged the State

Flu, Fire and War…  one year that devastated Minnesota.  It was 1918. Teri Knight’s guest today on 15 with the Author, is Curt Brown.  He’s a former Star Tribune Reporter and current writer of the History Column in Sunday’s Star/Tribune.  Brown’s new book is “Minnesota 1918 – When flu, fire and war ravaged the State”.  He talks about the research, the stories and why history is important.  He will be the guest speaker this Saturday, February 3rd at the Northfield Historical Society’s Winter Social!
