An unofficial check of the Cannon River levels shows an increase of 2 feet from yesterday to this morning and another foot from this morning. We are NOT at flood stage yet, however, KYMN received a call from Northfield Police Chief Monte Nelson who said downtown businesses who are prone to flooding are now preparing.
