Community News: CRWP looking for volunteers for River Clean Up

crwp junk photoThe 8th Annual Watershed Wide Clean Up Event will take place on Saturday September 17, 2016

We plan to host cleanups in Cannon Falls, Dundas, Faribault, Medford, Morristown, Northfield, Owatonna, Red Wing, Shields Lake, Waterville and Welch!

With the help of over 1,650 volunteers like you, we have removed 109,900 pounds of trash from our waterways since the Cleanup began in 2009. We’re currently accepting sponsorship from area businesses so call or email Kari@crwp.net if you’re interested in helping us make sure we can support each and every volunteer who wishes to help clean up our watershed!  Find out more on their website.

Please join us for a special afternoon of music and community to thank our volunteers at Bay Point Park in Red Wing for the music of Tin Can Gin starting at 3:00pm!

Eclipse Viewing Party at Northfield Public Library

Monday, April 8, 2024 @ 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm – Join us for the total solar eclipse! We will make cardboard eclipse viewers, pass out eclipse glasses, and all join together to see 70% of the total eclipse at 2:02 p.m. Bring a cereal box (or similar box) to make your own viewer–we will have a limited supply available.
