Phase 1  (Woodley Street from Prairie Street to Maple Street, Evelyn Circle & Frances Circle)  & Phase 2A (Maple Street and Woodley Street Intersection)

Sodding and tree planting crews were on-site this week working on putting the final touches on Phase 1 and Phase 2A this week.  Electrical crews were also on-site early in the week working on bases for the new street lighting system.

Next week, sodding and tree planting crews expect to complete the installation of sod and trees on all of Phase 1 and 2A.  City staff will be delivering a letter later today outlining the maintenance responsibility and care of the sod and trees.  Staff will also deliver a letter detailing the switch over to the newly installed mailboxes.  It is anticipated to have mail delivery back to your newly installed mailboxes on Monday October 3, 2016.

Phase 2B (Maple Street to Division Street)

Utility crews finished up the remaining storm sewer and service installations on the western half of Phase 2B between College Street and Division Street.  Grading crews were also on-site working on sub-cutting the existing road bed and placing the new sand and gravel road base.

Concrete crews were on-site this week working on curb and gutter installations on the eastern half of Phase 2B from College Street to Maple Street.  Grading crews were also on-site working on grading boulevards preparing for sidewalk installations on the eastern half of Phase 2B.

Next week, grading crews will continue sub-cutting the existing road bed and placing the new sand and gravel road base on the western half of Phase 2B from College Street to Division Street.  Concrete crews expect to begin curb and gutter installations on the western half of Phase 2B late in the week.  A letter will be distributed to residents detailing the concrete curb and gutter and driveway apron installation process.

Next week, concrete crews expect to begin pouring sidewalk and driveway aprons later in the week on the eastern half of Phase 2B between Maple Street and College Street.
