Community ALERT: Attempted child abduction in Cannon Falls: Updated information 8:55pm

134899fda7b67f597ad511dd62c248c2Cannon Falls Police Chief Jeff McCormick issued the following press release of an attempted abduction of a 10 year girl from Lower Hannah’s Bend Park.  We have a call in to the Police Chief.T  here was a father with two small children playing at Lower Hannah’s Bend Park Playground that left just before this occurred, the Cannon Falls Police Department would like to speak with him about anything he may have seen while at or leaving the park. (He is NOT a suspect) The Cannon Falls Police Department is also requesting anyone in the area of Hannah’s Bend Park, Cannon Valley Fair Grounds or the new DNR bike trail from Cannon Falls to Lake Byllesby between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday October 9, to please contact the Police Department at 507-263-2278.    Cannon Falls police.
