NHS graduate helps Elephant rescue – Shannon Vesledahl

Teri Knight talks with 2010 Northfield High School graduate, Shannon Vesledahl, about her trip to Thailand to work with elephants at the Elephant Nature Park.  She tells stories of the appalling treatment they were put through as baby elephants and the heartwarming rescue of these lovely animals.  Elephant Nature Park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center in Northern Thailand where you can volunteer and visit to help.
