Faribault, Northfield School Districts Closed Feb. 24

Faribault and Northfield School Districts have cancelled classes for Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 due to predicted inclement weather. The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for Rice County, effective from 9 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 25) morning. Additionally, MnDOT is advising no travel tonight and into tomorrow morning across sections of southern Minnesota, due to potentially hazardous road conditions and severely diminished visibility. Motorists can monitor MnDOT’s road conditions website here.
