Fresh from the Garden by John Whitman

To get the tastiest, most nutritious produce, you have to grow your own but our cold climate can be challenging.  As a vegetable gardener, this will be Teri Knight’s go-to book from now on.  Her guest today, on 15 with the Author, is John Whitman.  It’s called “Fresh from the Garden – an organic guide to growing vegetables, berries and herbs in Cold Climates”.  Years to complete, “Fresh from the Garden” is a monumental work in terms of information.  Whitman tackles critters, disease, nutritional facts and more.  Whitman’s wit and charm come through on the pages of the book and also in the interview.
