FREE Living Well with Chronic Conditions Classes Starting Soon in Faribault Sign-up Deadline July 24

Rice County Public Health, Allina Health and Faribault Senior Center are teaming up to offer Living Well with Chronic Conditions in Faribault for interested community members. These evidence based programs help people with chronic conditions live healthier and fuller lives. The six week workshop series helps people feel better, be in control, and do the things they want to do.

Together with other attendees, class participants will learn and practice ways to improve how they take care of themselves and enjoy life.  Discussion areas include: self-management skills, practical ways to cope with pain and fatigue, better nutrition and exercise choices, new treatment options, and methods for speaking with a health care provider or family member about health.

Participants meet for 2 ½ hours once a week for six weeks. Classes begin Wednesday, July 26th, and will be held July 26th – August 30th, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Faribault Senior Center, 19 Division Street West, Faribault, MN 55021.

Classes are held in partnership with Southeastern Minnesota Area Agency.
