Enjoy DJJD and get a ride home!

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS DURING THE DEFEAT OF JESSE JAMES DAYS

There will be two transportation options during the Defeat of Jesse James Days this year to ensure that everyone gets home safe.

First Choice Shuttle will provide four shuttles in Northfield during the week of Jesse James Days serving Northfield with their $6.00 per ride in Northfield.  They also service out-of-town riders for a $6.00 charge plus $2.00 per mile.  The shuttles will run 7:00 a.m. to bar close (1:00 am) on Friday and Saturday night and then 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday.

New this year, the Rice County Safe Roads Coalition is running a pilot project called JOYRIDE – Good times delivered.

Let JOYRIDE get you home on Saturday night, September 9, 2017 from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in the City of Northfield ONLY.  A Hiawatha Transit bus has been leased and will pick up riders at the Entertainment Center on 5th and Water Streets.  This is a FREE ride!  Tickets are available at the Entertainment Center and most bars and restaurants in downtown Northfield.

Thank you to the JOYRIDE Sponsors:   College City Beverage

Buckle Up 4 Meghan

Plan ahead – think before you drink  — a $6.00 or $30.00 or totally free ride is certainly cheaper than a DWI.
