Mayor Rhonda Pownell and City Administrator Ben Martig discuss the October 3 City council meeting.  Topics included a Bookend Community Award presented to the City of Northfield in conjunction with the medical community which promotes the importance of reading to children for their development.  The Council reviewed conceptual designs, site options, and cost estimates for the liquor store, and options to add to the Fire Station and its site to showcase the community look, feel, and function.
